Penumbral Lunar Eclipse
WELCOME to Eclipse Season:
We will experience the first eclipse of 2024 on Monday, March 25th. This will be a Penumbral Lunar Eclipse, occurring at 5* in the Cardinal-Air sign of Libra: 3:00 am EDT (adjust for your Time Zone).
Eclipses are like New and Full Moons on steroids, lasting for 6 month, plus, and having the greatest impact on our emotions (subconscious).
Since antiquity, eclipses have been considered “harbingers of CHANGE,” ushering in heightened energy for: release (Lunar) or new beginnings (Solar).

At a Full Moon, the sun and moon are ALWAYS in opposite signs, as the Sun illuminates the moon at its peak phase and brings to light: for closure &/or release, those areas, hidden or ignored in the subconscious.
At the time of a Lunar Eclipse, the earth passes between the sun and moon, blocking the sun’s light and this eclipse, being Penumbral, informs us that only a slight shadow is being cast upon the moon during this eclipse. Penumbral means that the earth’s “outer” shadow causes a darkening on a portion of the moon but doesn’t cause its disappearance.
Lunar Eclipses are like looking in a rear view mirror.
Reflect on what was happening in your life in October, 2023, during the previous eclipse season when we experienced a Solar Eclipse in Libra, on Oct. 14th. This Lunar Eclipse in Libra, on March 25th, once again accentuates the Aries/Libra axis of Self/Other and completes this Libra eclipse cycle. The signs most affected by this Eclipse, after Aries/Libra will be: Cancer and Capricorn, the 2 other Cardinal signs. The degrees to consider are those between 0*and 9* in these signs. They are the initiators! They each announce a season: Aries (Spring); Cancer (Summer); Libra (Autumn); Capricorn (Winter)
This Lunar Eclipse at 5* Libra makes a conjunction to the South Node at 15* Libra ( a wide alignment with a 9* orb). The South Node is about the Past (where we’ve been). We are being urged to release what no longer serves our highest and greatest good, in the area of relationships.
Libra is the sign of fairness, balance, giving and receiving, Its symbol is the Scales.of Justice.
Ask yourself:
Have I given too much of myself away in a relationship, partnership (personal or business), friendship . . . Ignoring my own personal needs and wants? Some relationships may require adjustments, while others may have outlived their time and come to an end, during this Libra Lunar Eclipse.
Aries, the sign opposite Libra is about Self and self care and self care is not selfish! If we don’t love and care for ourselves, we have nothing to share and give to others. Self Care is self love.
Libra is ruled by Venus, the goddess of love & beauty, in mythology. She also rules our values and personal resources. She is the “Law of Attraction!”
Venus is, presently, travelling through ethereal and compassionate Pisces, aligned with practical and down-to-earth Saturn This combo is urging us to reassess our obligations, commitments and promises to others. It can bring us into the cold hard truth of reality, compelling us to look at things more objectively, seeing who and what, should go and should stay.

Are my relationships balanced with giving and receiving, speaking and listening, consideration and cooperation?
Is it time to remove the rose-coloured glasses and see things as they really are?
What, if anything holds me back from living my BEST Life?
Eclipses are times of revelations, insights, changes. We often fear change as it is uncomfortable . . . taking us out of our comfort zone. However, Change can come with great rewards, even those we can’t see at the time. Think of Eclipses as “cosmic helping hands.”
Trust the direction in which this eclipse is guiding you and embrace whatever is unfolding in your life.

This Eclipse is urging each of us to recognize what we value in relationships.
