SCORPIO FULL MOON
On April 23, 2024, we will experience a Full Moon/Pink Moon at 4* Scorpio: 7:49 pm EDT (adjust for your Time Zone).
Scorpio, the Fixed-Water sign, is regarded as the most sensitive, intense and potent sign of the Zodiac because is asks us to go go deep within our psyche (soul) and connect with matters of the heart and our deepest emotions.
Psyche, in Greek Mythology was the goddess of the soul. Her name meant “breath of life“ and she was linked to one’s innermost self.
The sun and moon are ALWAYS in OPPOSITION at the time of a FULL MOON, as the Sun illuminates the moon at its peak phase, bringing to the surface (consciousness) those areas hidden, buried or ignored in the subconscious, for closure and release. In Scorpio this can lead to Empowerment!
We are being urged, at this Full Moon, to override our mind, with its logic and practicality & connect with our heart and deepest feelings; particularly, those kept in the shadows. This provides the backdrop for our most profound soul growth.
Our shadow nature (and everyone has one) relates to our subconscious emotions, those buried deep within our psyche and when not allowed to surface and be dealt with, can control our behaviour, unknowingly.
Things like fears, shame, trauma, old belief systems, conditioned patterns etc,.that hold us back from being our Best Self & living our Best Life, reside here.
This is the PERFECT Full Moon to shine a light on these shadow areas and stand in our personal power. It is the perfect moon for “Self-Discovery.” We are the Magicians and Healers of our own life, as we change our thoughts and behaviours.

The April “Full Moon in Scorpio” is, also, known as “the PINK MOON” . . . NOT because of colour but, according to the Farmer’s Almanac: for the blooming of the first wild flowers: pink-phlox (moss phlox, moss pink), rampant in Eastern North America during the month of April, as discovered by the early Native Americans. They saw these emerging plants as a sign of Rebirth & Revitalization.
This Full Moon signals Release work for New Opportunities to emerge. Creativity and Focus energy are high, now, so this is a wonderful time to: Dig Deep and Explore Creative Activities as a way to get “in touch” with your true self.
